I would love to see simillar session before driving the project of migration of users from old enterprise VoIP solution and desk phones to Microsoft Teams as softphone solution. It would be much more easier to find out answers on questions like:
Is Microsoft Phone System and Microsoft Teams ready to serve you as your old enterprise PBX with IP phone?
Can you offer to users with this cloud PBX all features that they used to use already for ages?
Are there any use cases where you can potentially hit the limits of the current Teams as VoIP solution?
Is the Direct Routing the right way for your complex enterprise network?
HeidelbergCement is one of the world’s largest building materials companies with 3000 locations over the 60 countries. My session will give you insight of HeidelbergCement journey to Microsoft Teams as their main communication tool for PSTN calls and how our new HQ in Heidelberg transformed the user workplace to trully digital.
What the session will be about:
lessons learnt from migration of Heidelberg campus with 800 users from VoIP desk phone solution to Microsoft Teams with Direct Routing
feature comparison and use cases you should not miss while planning and testing
examples of Direct Routing implementations for different enterprise network topologies
hints about the hybrid voice infrastructure setup – Direct Routing with on-premise PBXs – what to do if you are on the half way from on-premise solution to Microsoft Phone System
real end user stories and hints about the user adoption
I am really looking forward for any discussion and sharing the experience with other community members who they have simillar stories.
