Laurent Carlier

Level: 200

Session Abstract

With the COVID-19 crisis and the drastic changes in education, educators shift to distant and digital forms of learning globally.

While some already knew and use everyday Microsoft 365 and Teams, others had to deploy Microsoft teams in an emergency without having thought carefully about the context or having trained their teachers on good pedagogical practices.

Time has passed. We are starting to see some frustration or reluctance on Microsoft teams. Where do they come from ? How can they be resolved ?

In this session, attendees will learn the key elements of Microsoft Teams education and the pitfalls to avoid absolutely. We will cover real world scenarios, look at the new upgrades in Teams and see what is expected from educators working in remote learning environment.
