Safety Protocols

Everyones safety and enjoyment is our primary concern when attending our events. The UK has relaxed Covid restrictions from July 19th and we have no legal right to restrict or force you to abide by any such restrictions.

However, we are acutely aware that for many the thought of no restrictions is something to be concerned about and may be anxious or fearful about attending or what they may find. We ask you ALL to be respectful of this and to be sensible and courteous to those around you.

To help with this, Commsverse has put in place solutions that will hopefully allow people to mix or distance themselves without causing unnecessary stresses. We have detailed them below.

We are not mandating full vaccination as a condition of entry to our event. However, we are requiring you to show evidence of a recent (within 48 hours prior to the event) of a negative lateral flow test.

You can do this by ordering your free test kit from the NHS track and trace website and reporting your result using the NHS Covid App.

You will not be allowed entry without an negative test.

In line with the rules around mask wearing, we have no legal right to require you to do so.

However, we do suggest and strongly advise you to bring your own mask and wear it when in crowded places such as the exhibition hall.

Please also respect your fellow attendees who might not feel comfortable talking with you whilst no using a mask, so please use your own judgement

Social Distancing will NOT be enforced during the event. You will be free to walk around the venue as you wish.

However, we will still be enforcing a one way system and no queuing policy around the exhibition area. We are also limiting attendance to 45% venue capacity to allow people to spread out and find their own comfortable spacing.

Again please be respectful to others and only approach them if you are confident that they are comfortable with you

Although as an event we are not enforcing social distancing, we are giving you the opportunity to personally choose to distance yourself from others.

Your badge will be printed both sides, one side telling others to keep their distance, the other informing them that it is OK to approach.

Simply orientate your badge to the side you want at any time to let others know how they should interact with you.

In line with the other measures we have in place we have chosen to setup each of our theatre rooms in a hybrid setting.

One half of the room will be laid out at full capacity seating. This being seats next to each other. The other half will be seated in 1m intervals.

When entering the room, please sit on the side that you feel most comfortable with. You do not need to reserve them, just walk in and sit

Strict hygience practices will be maintained by the venue and Commsverse. Tables and peripherals will be cleaned and santized between use.

We ask that you bring with you pocket sized santizer and your own refillable water bottles for use with the water stations throughout the venue.

If you forget a mask or feel you need one, we have some available for you

Travel & Connectivity

We are hopeful that the UK Government will allow international arrivals into the UK from Amber List nations without quarantine in time for the event. If they do, we fully expect that the minimum requirement for entry will be FULL VACCINATION and a negative PCR type test on departure.

Full Vaccination in the UK means that you have had both jabs at lease 14 days before your travel date. This means that in order to make it to Commsverse you will need to have had both jabs by no later that August 30th in order to fly on Sept 14th.

We do not know what other requirements are going to be needed as yet. It may require you to take another PCR test on Day 2 of your stay unless you are flying home that day. Please keep in touch with your travel operator as they will know more than us.

Please limit the risk of transmission by travelling alone in your car if possible. When stopping at service stations etc. please continue to wear a mask and continue good hygiene practices along your journey.

There is plenty of free car parking space at the venue. When approaching the venue, take the first exit on the roundabout in front of Mercedes-Benz World, following signs for Brooklands Air Museum. The car park is located on the left hand side approx 200m along the road. DO NOT park in the car park directly attached to the venue. This is for the dealership and service centre customers only.

If you are travelling by rail, there is a direct rail service from Waterloo station in London that takes approx. 30 minutes. The rail station is about 1 mile from the venue, so you will need a taxi / uber.

There is good 4G signal at the venue and free wifi. You do not need a password to access the wifi.

As we are streaming the event we ask politely if you could limit your use of the public wifi as much as possible during the sessions and revert to 4G. Thank you.
