Succeeding with microsoft teams in mixed tech communication environments

Microsoft Teams is the fastest growing business application Microsoft has ever released. It provides a unique single interface to all things collaboration and communication both inside companies and with external users.

Many organisations have invested extensively in other video meeting solutions from vendors such as Cisco, Polycom, and many others.

This session discusses the complexity of mixed technology environments, and looks at the possible solutions, both from a technical, a commercial, and a strategic point of view.

Back to the office: How will virtual meetings happen when we return to our offices?

Even before the Coronavirus pandemic Microsoft Teams was the fastest growing business application Microsoft had ever released. Then suddenly every meeting became a Teams meeting – leaving office meeting rooms and established video conferencing routines unused. Employees are now settling with the “new normal” where Teams is the defacto meeting platform.

This session looks at how employees and businesses will return to offices and how the “new normal” ties in with what we used to know. How can organisations ensure “old” and “new” meeting habits and technologies work together? How do they best plan for and succeed in the “back to the office” scenario? How do we continue to be efficient in the “new normal”? How do we use shared resources such as video meeting rooms in the new normal?

We discuss the challenge of combining new and old meeting habits with Teams at the core and look at the possible solutions to make organisations efficient from both a technical and process point of view.
